Introducing solar-powered drip irrigation, flood-tolerant seeds, and digital weather forecast advisories for smallholder farmers.
Aiming to combat climate change impacts in the Terai region, this project supports smallholder farmers with climate-smart farming solutions.
Interventions include:
- Installation of 120 community solar irrigation pumps.
- Distribution of drought and submerged-tolerant certified crop varieties.
- Real-time mobile SMS weather and pest warning alerts in regional dialects.
